The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.P. Whelan, rider of Cloughleagh Bridge, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed G.M. Ryan, rider of Honey Deuce (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that G.M. Ryan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Almeiyda, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check for a stride a half a furlong out.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Palace Fever, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met interference at the marker poles and again two and a half furlongs after the start.

W.J. Lee, rider of River Trieux (GB), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met interference at the marker poles and again two and a half furlongs after the start.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Rosanella (GB), trained by Josh Halley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early on.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after two and a half furlongs involving Palace Fever, ridden by W.M. Lordan, River Trieux (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, and Rosanella (GB), ridden by N.M. Crosse, where it appeared the three horses came close together. Due in part to limited footage in the early stages of this race, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

R. Whearty, rider of Treasured Royal, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a keen hold early on.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Elly Bay, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared up as the stalls opened.

R.M Mulligan, rider of Hugo's Girl, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no luck in running in the last two furlongs.

C.T. Keane, rider of Prevalence (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped halfway up the straight and she rolled around as a result.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Temperance, trained by Miss Kate McGivern, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

W.J. Lee, rider of Bella Colombia, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

S.A. Wallace, rider of Never The Same, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped at the furlong pole.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from G.M.Lyons, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Prevalence (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run on the 30th of August at Cork. G.M. Lyons stated that possibly the better ground today may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
